Default i cant figure out...

i cant figure out How to put the power steering and alternator brackets back on my engine...
its a 68' 302, i took my engine apart 2 years ago, and its almost ready to start up.. i just need to remember how to put the alternator and power steering pump back on..

it seems like no mattter how i turn and rotate the brackets.. they wont line up... pics would be most helpfull...
any help is appreceiated

This is a stock engine out of a 1968. Maybe one of these will help:








THey may be too far away and the a/c compressor and bracket is not helping. I can try to get some closer ones tomorrow if you need them.

heres my dads 66. i dont know if the bracket setup is different depending what year it is.

but from the pictures snakes put up, they are different.

on my dads alt, its an aftermarket bracket cause the stock one came with mounts for the smog pump.

is there a spacer between the block and the alternator?
