Welkom,

I am a brit living in the Netherlands with a 65 mustang also brought from Movie cars, currently I am slowly rebuilding/upgrading my stang to be ready for the nurburgring. This site has proved invaluable for my ham-fisted attempts at rebuilding my stang!!!

@Moonweasel: You would be surprised ! Its not a common car over here, but there is a large mustang club over here and we have mustangs from every year and type over here !

Just goes to show that we are all the same in some ways. V8 + light, rear drive car = fun.

Here's my 65 (just got it, long way to go):

But the stripes are different (boyd used straight stripes, i used the shelby as template). And the colors are different .

But i'm not the only one with this colour scheme, and also not be the last.

But i'm unique with the color yellow and silver (custom made colours).

good that you did because the shelby stripes keep from creating an potical illusion

I love the color combination and that is turning out to be an awesome build.

Really like the custom colors you selected. I know that will probably be the hardest thing for me to do, pick out the color I will have mine painted.

I also like the color combo and I think you have a great choice fore wheels on that car. Nothing wrong with something other than TTII.

Been busy with the car again, did alot of things wich take loads of time, but you dont really see the progress (Putting back the latches in the door etc...

Also ordered the billet hoodhinges and a totalcontrol coilover conversion, had doubts along time to order this, but it will look very nice on the car and the coilovers with the braces will improve the handling of the car.

These are the newly ordered hoodhinges (pics of the coil overs are comming when the are mounted)

Leaves a big hole in the budget (expensive shipping, and extra taxes to pay to customs over here).

Put the monte carlo brace on just for fitment (not fastened)

Made the latches silver to match the stripes

Replaced al rubbers and grommets !

New grips

Put the taillights back in !
