Yes why not do those too. I'm very glad that I did those things to my 65. I think you will be too. Just when you think your done there will be something else. That is one reason why we love these projects. It is far better time spent then in front of the TV!!!

Not had much time for internet the last couple of months, still busy with the car. Had it on the dyno and it had 365 WHP, not enough for me so began to take the engine apart and mount new heads ! There trickflow Stage 3 heads and roller rockers.

Also looking for a new gearbox, the C4 has a massive HP loss to the wheels so i'm converting it to a manuel gearbox (Tremec T56 keissler). And also bought a 9 inch rear end. Dont know wich gear to use for it yet but i want a LSD in it.

Some pictures and a video from the dynorun !

Also i entered a second car show since the car was done, and won again ! Best off show . Was great after that much work on the car to win again. (Never won anything with my previous cars lol ).

Sorry for the crappy phone pics, rather get my phone get dirty while working on the car then my canon

Last pictures of the engine room before the make over !

Also going to tuck the wires to get a more clean look !

The new trickflow heads !

After a long night of work !

Fitting the new valve covers on the old heads, wanted to see a litle result

And the new stuff for the engine !

The next morning i went to the local mustang shop to pick up some gaskets and to buy the 9inch rear end

After a couple of hours work to fit the heads, check valve clearance the heads went on.

This afternoon i'm going to check the pushrod lengt and order some new pushrods tonight. Hope to get it running next week !

Yes, when the engine is finished it will be dyno tuned, really curious what the HP output will be !

Finished today with measuring the pushrod lenght, hope i did everything correct ! Ordered 5/16 chromoly 7,2 inch long pushrods today !

First marking was at first attempt, second marking was dead on in the center of the valve stern ! Hope this is good enough !

Cant wait to hear it running again and drive it finally

Still not running but couldnt resist buying a Total control rack and pinion conversion ! This winter i'm going to rebuild the suspension. Also including coilovers and tubular A arms !

Also bought a safety loop for the drive shaft, beter safe then sorry !

And finally my new intake manifold arrived, the old performer was way to small to fit with the Trick flow heads !

Now i can take it all apart to fit the new intake manifold , to be honest i test fitted the old manifold and didnt fasten it, just to see if everything fits again.

Thank you, its indeed a fun driver now, but the last year its more working on the car then driving. And i still have much more things i want to do, but that will take years to finish it .

How much is in it, its hard to tell i guess arround 45k now without the purchase of the actual car. Keep in mind that mustangs here are much more expensive here then over there. A simple example a 2005 mustang V6 is about 35k over here.

And the problem with parts is the shipping costs, and custom fees. Alot of company's ripp you off with shipping costs (way more than the actual costs) Everything we have to order overseas in the US, you can buy parts over here, there are few mustang specialists but that isnt cheap and doesnt have any performance parts.

Biggest problem for me is that alot of companies doesnt ship outside the US, there are so many parts i want to order, but is hard to get over here.
