Thinking of getting a classic...maybe!!!
I would agree with sweet65stang.
I think I would get bored with mine if I had nothing to do but drive it and let it sit in the garage. Never getting the sense of accomplishment after completing a project and making it that much better.. or not

I would suggest you looking at getting a coupe for your first classic. They don't look as aggressive and they aren't as rare, but I think you get the most for your money. A coupe will retail for roughly half of a comparable fastback or convertible. The fact that there are a lot of them means you won't be as limited in your selection. Don't get me wrong I love my fastback, but if I was looking for best bang for the buck go coupe. And if you don't think you can get an impressive and aggressive looking coupe, check out Carlos Pineiro's '69 Grande!
i suggest getting a 71-73 fastback/mach 1 you can get into them for coupe money and they ride better than any other classic thanks to the stiffer chassis and longer wheel base
