mortman, What is it that you can't read on the wiring diagram 3WD - 398?

I am installing the Ron fransis wiring harnes, its simple and straight forward, but the diagram needed is to triple check my wiring. the diagram in question, parts are cut off such as the light switch, fuel sending, and other dash stuff, i think i figured it out but again want to tripple check

 

I'm sorry, I can't help you with Ron Francis wiring hareness installation. I replaced my harnesses with exact reproduction wiring.

 

These have finally come in sort of useful to me. Clear and as legible as you make something when all the wires go into one then split!

I am working on a guy's 68 trying to adapt some fancy Ididit tilt column.
I only have the 67 and 69 manuals so i assumed either would help... we have a mystery steering column wire here and the wiring diagram only confuses it more. Wire #482 is not shown on the color chart and also it is not shown where it goes to. Appears to be hazard flasher related but the white with red stripe seems to do that.

Anybody know where it goes?
