Pics, pics, pics, pics!

rusty floors?

Check the cowl, cowl, cowl, cowl!

Congrats on the purchase! Rusty floors in the front usually come from the inside out when the rust holes in the cowl allow water to drip on the carpet and rust the floor.

rusty floors on the passenger side can also be caused by a persistent, but slow, heater core leak that was never fixed. Windshield leaks can drip down behind the dash and cause alot of problems and go unnoticed. Also the wiper arms can be a problem for leaks, not noticed. Lots of opportunities for problems besides the cowl.
73K miles is pretty low for a car of that age.
One big question to answer from the start is, is going to be stock or modded. That will usually set your direction as far as repairs, parts and other choices.

Not realy sure what we want to do with it.
Its gonna be the wifes project. She has been bugging me for years to get her one. lol

I think we are going to do a more stock look. But it wont be back to origina specs. She wants a certain green color. Right now it is blue ext/blue int.

Yea the windshied has a crack. But it came with a good windshied from another 65. I wi def. check the heater core out.
