i think the first character is an 8 but i got the same thing for the rest of it

In 68 and 69 yes, but if this was a 67 it would say 67 first.
66 would be - SFM6
65 - SFM5

It looks too new to me, to be an original VIN tag. Look at the area around the tag in the photo. It looks like some corrosion that was painted over.

Are you looking to buy the GT350 Convertible?
