Default Need help, 77 Pony Problem

I inherited a Pony. It has been in and out of the service garage several times. It runs for approx 5 miles and then it will buck and stall out. After letting it cool, it will run again. So far I have replaced fuel pump, fuel filter, carb kit and float. Someone suggested it may be the choke. Any thoughts on this problem? thanks in advance

Make sure the fuel pump is not pumping too much gas, it will over-run the carb and could cause your problem. Take off the air filter assembly and let it run until the choke opens. If gas starts coming out of the carb the pump is probably too powerful. Welcome to the forum, good luck!
