Default disconnecting drivetrain for towing?

Im planning on trailering my 67' on a car dolly. I know the drivetrain needs to be disconnected to do so but can anyone help me as to how its done and how easy or hard it is?

where the driveshaft connects to the rear end there will be 4 bolts on going 'thru' u joints, and into the 3rd member, unbolt those bolts, and you may have to pry it loose, but once its comes out the front will slide right out of the tranny. put a bucket under there so you don get tranny fluid everywhere. then just duct tape the end of the tranny to keep it from dripping. its not hard at all. just 4 small bolts. they shouldnt be that tight either

Actually... Are you towing the car from the front or the rear? If your using a dolly and load the rear tires on it then you shouldn't need to disconnect anything with the front wheels on the road. Just make sure you secure the steering wheel well with the front wheels pointing straight.

When I took my driveshaft off I had almost no fluid leak. I have a manual tranny.
