Default Radiator advice

I'm ready to get a new rad for my '67 I6. This car will be a weekend driver, with upgrades to the I6 in the future (?). Any advice on 2 vs. 3 row, alum. vs. copper, and where to get a good one? I've seen some for around $300. That's about right for my budget, but I could go a bit higher if it was worth it. Thanks in advance!

I replaced the original radiatior in my I6 67 Coupe but for the life of me I can't remember what I bought.

67's are very specific as they have "ears" on either side of the radiator, make sure to get the right one.

Oh, I think we traded a couple messages a while back, let me know if you need a hand. I think you were close to Lexington if I am remembering right.

Richmond, which is not too far for a little help.
I'll let you know. Let me know if you're ever in town.

I went for one like this (differences: 1966, no transcooler, top right bottom left). For the same price of $249, it is an excellent radiator that will cool even a hot V8.

I6 send and return connections for the radiator hoses are on different sides. I would stick with specific I6 radiators. My 67 ran perfectly cool with the MU unit listed above.

They are also more efficient as they can use bigger tubes than a brass radiator. A two row AL with 1" tubes is more efficient than the same size 4 row brass and with 1 1/4" tubes it is more efficient than a brass 5 row. There really is no other choice unless you must stay original.
