Default Rust Remover

Does anyone have any experience with "Klean Strip Jellied Rust Remover"?

i picked this and rust converter up at wal-mart today to try it out, was wondering if it would be as effective or less effective/time efficient over sandblasting.

i would be using it on various small items as well as bigger things.
eg.
pullies
automatic shift shaft/handle (possibly diluted for protection of chrome)
alternator fan
intake manifold
etc

yes i have used steel wool on my bumpers, as practice though they are bent up beyond repair
but my shift handle is pretty wasted, so ill try to use this on it, if not satin black it is.
ill take before and after pictures too

I might work, and why do all your pics look like the light is yellow?

there are some weird lights in that room, it used to be the paint room so it has A TON of light fixtures, then of course a ton of light fixtures in a room thats not commonly used got filed with THE CHEEEAAAPPEST lights known to mankind, it looks fairly yellow in person but the camera exagerates it too

I use CLR with a little steel wool and it works fantastic, but some parts have little nooks and crannies and are hard to get to. The higher viscosity jelly stuff you got might be great because it can set on hard to get to spots and fight gravity. I'd like to try it on my shock tower caps. Let us know if it works.

i put some on my intake manifold, some where there was paint chiped off, some where the paint remained for unifomity.

it says either 5-10 minutes OR several hours, quasi confusing but ill go check on it soon, if that doesnt work ill leave it over night. its 10 pm here now

ok, looks like it will be sitting over night, hopefully i can get up in time to take care of them before the school bus comes =/
were there was absolute bare metal it foamed up white, where the was rust it turned black and were there was paint it dried up like clear coat, not too promising
