Default Connecting the stereo

Hi!

I was wondering if someone could helpe me re: wiring the USA1 stereo.

My car came with the USA1 stereo but it wasnt wired

I have removed the USA1 stereo from the console and found the following:

A speaker cable (two pin socket) (Sorry i dont know what they are called, im from UK)

Then another two pin socket with 3 cables to it: LightBlue and LightBlue-Red to one pin and a Yellow-Black to the other. Also ther is a Yellow 3 pin socket with a single Green-Black cable to it.

Now the stereo has To battery To ignition and Ground cables.

Could someone please give me some clues as to what should i connect to what?

Thank You!!!

Kind Regards

Glen

Glen, I have a brand new one at home that I just received. I'll take a look. I'll also be in London next week and could bring you a copy of the instructions if that would help. First let me make sure I have the same set up. I have this USA-66:

Snakes, dude, seriously, you don't have to fly to London just to give newbie the instructions. I have a gizmo called a facsimile machine that will do the trick without having to eat bad food and see a Drew Barrymore movie for 12 hours. Lend me the GT40 for a couple of months, and I will be happy to handle stereo school for you, no prob.

Facsimile? we use email over here bro

And bad food????? come on dude, surely anything is better than a burger/taco/dunkin.....

On a more serious note i managed to wire it up but only off the ignition, i have a feeling the blue red wire is broken somewhere along the line....
PLus my original speaker was shot... so i wont hear any noise from my stereo until my dual coil over baby arrives.

Thanks all tho

Carlos, that is the most generous, considerate offer and thought I have ever received. Let me think about that for a couple of years!

Of course next time you are on the east coast you can take the GT40 for a ride.
