Default Subframe connectors

I just received some parts from Cj pony part's but unfortunately my subframe connectors were not included(on backorder). On the packing slip it says that the ones that I ordered requires modification to the floor I was not aware of this... It didn't say this anywhere in the details. The part number was SFC0. Which subframe connectors will not require me to chop up my brand new floor that I installed?

yes, there are multiple types of subframe connectors, and the one's you ordered look like you have to cut into the rear section of the floorpan. Those globalwest units should work for a minimal additional charge.

totalcontrol also has one #5554, but about $100 more. Take a look and you'll see the difference in fabrication.

Maier racing has some too. Those mentioned should work too without any mods. I hate that too, when you get something, and the description "leaves" out important info like "cutting up your floorpans to install something". Or it is back-ordered after you pay for it. Arrrgh!

Heidt's has a bolt or weld in set that contour with the floor.

Hopefully I can get in touch with them tommorow. If they have the global west's in stock I'd much rather pay the difference rather then cut up my pan or have to modify these to fit.

Maybe not?

I used Maiers racing sub frames and they fit really well. I liked the fact that they box around the frame and mount in 4 places. Really stiffened the coupe up. Also they cant be seen unless you are looking under the car.

Installed the Tin Man Subframe Connectors without any problems. Didn't have to cut the floor at all and the fit was great. Cost was about 145.00.
