Smile upgrade to power top

I have a manual convertible top on my "65 stang and am thinking of adding a power unit to it. Is it a straight bolt on addition or are there mods needed to the vehicle or top. Also, where do I start looking for the complete unit.
Thanks

I'd be surprised if the factory made 2 different top frames. The mounting holes are probably there. Check with cal-mustang.com they have all the parts. The major components are just 2 hydraulic pistons and a pump.

Try checking ebay. Have seen all the parts needed at a reasonable price. Other than the two major component listed in the previous post you will need the switch, wiring harness and several other parts to make it correct.

Thanks for the information. I'll check it out on ebay.
