Default Updated - Lost six screws - found them

Despite my best efforts to bag and tag during disassembly, I apparently got careless when I removed the rings which hold the headlight in place. I cannot find those screws (three on each side) anywhere. Anybody know what they are? Can I replace them at the hardware store or am I going to have get something special?

I just got them from a parts house to save time. Tucked them into a bigger order.

you should be able to pick up some screws from any hardware store. I am pretty sure they are not anything special.

Here is the hardware for the headlights and buckets:

They look like standard #8 by maybe 3/4" round head sheet metal screws to me.

If you mean the screws from the trim ring bezel, any similar screw will do. The ones you don't want to lose are the screws for the turn sig and back-up light lenses. The factory ones have stops so you don't crack the plastic, which you will do with a regular screw.

Very good call. Them little things make all the difference when building a car.

As for my screws... lost mine a long time ago

I hate when that happens. I've been looking for a WWII compass for six months. I care less about the compass each day, I just want closure.

I haven't lost any yet but many people tell my wife I've got a loose one. That's what she says anyway.

Bagged and tagged better than I thought. Found this under the bag containing the clips and plastic washers for the door handles and window cranks.
