This is the engine side of my 1966. see that set of holes just above the upper arm, those are the original mounting holes. The arm was lowered 1":

Remove Spring
unbolt UCA
Drill Holes
Bolt in UCA
Reassmble

i might do this while i have the bay stripped, even if i don't put the control arm in the new holes right away.

do i need special springs?
and does the rear need lowered or do mideye leafs drop it enough?
one last thing, before and after pics of drop?

Nope. I have stock suspension. Original springs, leafs, UCAs, LCAs, all suspension parts are original on my 67.
