42 year old springs probably lower the car quite a bit

Thanks. I have something like a 2 1/2- 3 inch rake on it. It might be less since I have newer tires on the front. Last set on the front were bald when I did the drop.

It lowered my 67 about a 1" to 1 1/2". I think the old springs may have something to do with it also. It isn't quite 42 yet. It was built Jan 27th 1967.

It is also amazing what new shoes will do. It really changes the look.

"Hurry up and finish that vert. Faster we finish more time we have off."
Probably what they were saying.

I agree - BA's stance is perfect! And this is with stock original non-cut springs? NICE!!!

Yes, larger wheels and tires coupled with the Shelby drop that will lower the front end by up to one inch when using stock springs (less with higher rate aftermarket springs). What this points out is that you have to consider every component of your set up. I have 1" drop 560# springs with the Shelby drop and feel I will see about an inch and a half drop in the front. With 4 1/2 reverse eye springs in the back and 245/45-17, I am hoping for a perfect stance. We will see!
