Spring Perch location on 69
I have been doing some searching on my lunch break for the past couple days but can't find the information i am looking for on this site or others.
On a 69 mustang, if you place the spring perches on a set of saw horses, will the housing face where the 3rd member attaches be facing up at a 5 degree angle? I know it does for the 64.5-66 but what about a 69?
Also, the spring perches are mounted 43" center to center, correct? I am pretty sure i am correct but wanted to check anyway. I would hate to have them in the wrong spot after it is powder coated.

Luke, yes, 43" is the correct center span for the perches.
As for the other thing, I don't know for sure. My 9" is out of the car, so I can't be positive, but it looks like it is coming out straight, and not at an angle. However, 5* isn't much, and I might not be able to see that...

i asked Daze and he said he was 85% sure all mustangs had 5 degrees but not positive. When you look at his pictures it is really hard to tell there is any tilt. Do you happen to have an angle finder?
Earlier tonight I looked again out of curiosity. I made sure the perches looked as level as possible, and now maybe I see a slight upward angle. I don't have angle finder...
It would make sense though if it did have a slight upward angle, since the transmission is probably a few inches higher than the diff. center...
