Once you get it media blasted, you'll see everything that needs replaced and or fixed. That will expose all holes, rusted out areas, etc. Your off to a good start. Sometimes, looks can be deceiving-it may not be as bad as it looks.

So far the site has been great and informative.

First off...welcome to the hood.

I am in the Houston area (specifically in the Spring / Woodlands area) and I have heard of the Mustang club but have never checked out any of their meets.

To me, your floors and toe boards look kind of rough and like they maybe have seen their better days. The full length pans, toe boards and seat risers cost me about $200 or $300 and they were not that big a deal to put in. I would consider replacing them while it is all apart because it would be easier to do now as opposed to later. Just my 2 cents for whatever it's worth :-)

Also good to see the baggies, masking tape and sharpie in your pics! That will certainly save you many hours down the road! Keep taking pictures, we love to see them. I'm up here in the DFW area. I grew up in Houston (Spring, went to Klein HS) and all my family is down there. Good luck with your project!!!

I am bagging every part and screw even if I do not plan to use it. I am also labeling all wires when I disconnect them.

I grew up in Plano and my parents are still there. I am up that way often. I even made a stop at Dallas Mustang over Christamas. You used to be able to walk around their warehouse and look at all the parts on the shelfs. They also used to have Mustangs and Shelby's all throughout the warehouse. It is not that way anymore.
