Default Light problem

I have a light problem in the rear. When I turn on my lights my passenger rear light will turn on, but my drivers side won't. But when I press the brake it comes on like it should. What is it? I have looked at the wired, but can't see anything wrong.

The taillight and brake light use a different filiment in the same bulb. Check your bulb. Then check the socket.

Just figured that out. I looked at it before, but never noticed that it was dual filament. Going to get one tomorrow after golf.
