Default WTF oil pan gasket?

I just opened the package containing what was supposed to be a Fel-Pro gasket from Auto Zone for my I6 67 oil pan. The package does not say Fel-Pro, but something else. The cork parts look like they will fit, and there is one rubber end seal, but the other rubber piece has me stumped. It is much bigger, with 5 large bolt holes. I don't see how it could fit anywhere. The package has a tag saying it fits a Ford 1960-83 L6 140 170 200 3.3L
Did Auto Zone send me the wrong thing?

I learned to buy all my parts from Napa. AZ couldn't get my orders correct. I know a guy that works there and I think he said their books don't go past '69.

When I had to replace my clutch autozone gave us the wrong clutch disc, then Advance tried to sell us the whole kit not just disc after my dad said disc only. So we went to napa and got the part we needed.

I guess you get what you pay for. The AZ gasket was $10. The MU was $20. Would NAPA have something like that in stock? I'll find a NAPA if that's the case!

From your pics it looks like you are just missing 1 end seal.

Right part # (according to my computer here at Napa), misboxed. One end seal is incorrect.

Starfury- I don't suppose Napa stocks just the end seals? I checked on the gasket, but they can't get it until Mon.

No, not something you can get separate. Fel Pro sucks like that=/ You can always buy another gasket set and return the one you have that's mixboxed later.

That should be a fairly common gasket. Call parts stores that aren't big chain stores. An old established independent store might have one on the shelf.
