I assume you mean an orig Philco/Ford factory radio.

They pull off (the only way to remove them). The balance/fader wheels are separate, so just pull the actual **** first, then the wheels will slip off. If you try to pull the whole thing at once, you may crack the wheels.

An aftermarket company just recently (last year?) started making exact matching replacement ***** for our Philco radios. They are chrome with little black "camera case" style centers that match the black "camera case" bezel. If your year looks different, they have an all-chrome style too.

The ***** are sold as a set for about $50. I was pissed at the price, but finally gave in when I realized it's practically impossible to find a used orig set.

I've forgotten about the $50 like it was a parking ticket I paid. My radio looks and works great and original. It was worth it.

It's a total ripoff, and I remember angrily saying "No Effin Way!" as I laughed and continued my futile search. Then I looked at my perfectly stock interior missing only the chrome radio ***** that are supposed to match all the other ***** and after a few months of searching I finally gave in.

It's a one time expense, and now that the money is spent, I am happy. My car looks and works exactly like it did when it was on the showroom floor, and all the ***** match.
