All,

As I continue to replace items on my stang to get back to original, I have an AM original radio that I want to install. What's the easiest way to put the AM radio in thru the back of the dash. I see that the A/C is in the way, do I have to remove the complete A/C unit below the dash or is it easier to go thru the glove box if I remove it? The radio is pretty bulky and i just can't get it thru the passenger side with the opening as it is. The driver side seems harder to get thru.

Remove the glove box and the radio will fit through there. Been there, done that. The AC does not have to move.

 

jcthrone...thanks for the direction on this...it did work out best through the glove box. AM radio now installed!!!
