Okay, I'm an idiot! I can't spell "Remember" and of course it is a 67! That's why I bought it.
I got lots to do on the other ones first and this one I can drive and play with at my own pace. Of course, once the 66 is finished I will want it perfect quickly!

That is one of the things I like about it, the originality. It does need some work, but most is simple patch panels where some rust has formed. I love the green and the green interior, no changes planned there!

sweet .. and forget about those turbos (ember my post about that rear axle and u-joint) ;-)
i always loved those 67 convertibles. Would have been my 2nd choice. If I ever win the lotto I'll have one of those
stupid question: wasn't the pic you posted dual exhaust ? is that two 3 cyl headers going into one exhaust each, or is it all 6 going into one pipe that is splitting later?

How does it sound with the single out header and split exhaust? I am keeping my I6 and want to build my own header but think I should go with a dual out setup because I have heard that the I6 has a very droney sound. Currently mine has a single exhaust with a glasspack on the end and it sounds like a Briggs and Stratton on steriods

That is a beautiful car. I love the color and it is in really nice shape. I will admit I have learned a lot about these old mustangs from this site and from my "recent" purchase of my mustang.
I wouldn't mind having a convertible one on the side as well. I was trying to convince my wife a nice 65 or 66 convertible would be perfect for her.
