Default Help with 1965 convertable mustang

I bought a mustang off of ebay. It was originally a hard top, but was converted to a convertible for a movie set. I have the bows and the mechanisms to put the top on. However I don't have any idea how to go about putting it on. I have gone to a few convertible people and they aren't very helpful. What is left of the top is the windshield frame, which as two metal shields on it, and a metal bearing where the speakers would go in a hard top. Can anyone help me figure out how to do this or give me a good guy to fix it in the area of 32701. My father keeps complaining about the top and it really sucks to drive in the rain haha. HELP!!!

There were a lot of differances between the hard top and soft top. Your best bet is to find a wrecked convertable and change the parts over to your car. Movie cars are notoriouse for being poorly modified. Most are just hack jobs. Good luck with your project, you're going to need it.
