Default dull seats

Have a 66 convertible with dull pony interior. What is the best way to revitalize them? Is it better to just go ahead and recover them? How expensive is recovering seats?
TY!!

Go pick up some Meguire's vinyl and rubber cleaner and spray them down real good. That's all I use on my '67 and I love it.

Whatever you do, don't use Armor-All

Look at any Mustang Supplier and you should find new seat covers. There was a post a few weeks ago about doing this yourself. Most people say its better to have an shop do this. Its one of those things that is "usually" better to pay someone else.

The seat covers are cheap ($250 for full set) and they are not difficult to install. I replace the ones in my coupe several years ago and they turned out fine and I had no prior experience.
