Default flushing windshields

Well I have a little progress on my rear flush mounted window. I bought some 3/16 flat bar and bent it to the curve of the rear window but when I temporarily mount the window in the car there was a 1/4 in difference in reveal from the corner of the window to the center of the window. I replaced the skin but not the frame. I realize that the original trim would compensate for some of this but with the window being flush I have to have it perfect or it will show. I had to go inside the car and cut a couple of relief cuts in the rear roof support push it up and re weld it. I now have to decide if I want to remove the original flange and re weld a new one in its place further out of the frame or leave it in place and weld another piece of flat on top to fur out the flange.
I an thinking that I will fur it out so I dont interfere with the roofs integrity any more and make a piece of trim moulding that would go against the window on the inside and allow me to secure my headliner.this is the smallest rubber moulding that I have been able to find. I am pretty happy with how it will look.

I was thinking about doing a flush mount on my 68. Its a good bit more work than the 65-66 though.
