Help with AC removal
Hey all,
I'm trying to remove my AC unit and want to make sure that I'm doing it right. So far I have removed the compressor. I'm not sure about the hoses that were connected to it. One goes to the radiator and one goes to the firewall on the passenger side. Is it cool to just disconnect both hoses or do I need to plug them?

In the pictures you will notice that the brackets are still in there original locations. It looks like if I remove them they won't line up with the pulleys. Should I get some washers made to take the place of the removed brackets?

Also, trying to remove all California emissions equipment in the process. Here are a few pics of the engine bay. All advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
