1966 horn problem

1966 horn problem
I've replaced harness and horns on my 66 convertable and they don't work correctly. Each horn hooked up separately sound fine but when both are hooked up they don't sound correct. Help!

lol, every car ive ever owned horn has only lasted a year or so, just rev your motor when you wanna pass, lol

There should be an adjustment screw on them.
Sounds like (pardon the pun) that they are corroded.

How is the turn signal switch / horn button in your steering column?
Old, new, etc???

I would try the adjustment screws on the horns. It made a huge difference in my orginal horns and saved me a lot of money..

Yahoo, I was just out at the pony and tweeked her horn adjustments and now I have 2 working horns. Thanks again!!!!
