Default 1966 horn problem

I've replaced harness and horns on my 66 convertable and they don't work correctly. Each horn hooked up separately sound fine but when both are hooked up they don't sound correct. Help!

There should be an adjustment screw on them.

Sounds like (pardon the pun) that they are corroded.

I would try the adjustment screws on the horns. It made a huge difference in my orginal horns and saved me a lot of money..
