Howdy
If you have rust issues, strip the car down and have it media blasted first. Then you will see what needs to be replaced. Remember, as noted earlier, take gobs of pics. I have thousands of pics of my car during tear down and reassembly. I can't begin to tell you how many times I have referred to my pics to see how parts and pieces were configured. Start a car domain page and document everything. Good luck!
I love the pic of your pony! Did you paint it yourself? I am considering painting mine myself. I spnet years doing body work here and there and know 90% of the paint job is in the prep. I have checked things out and figure I could do it for about $500.00 in paint supplies. I'm going to go with the original color candy apple red metalflake. Do you have any words of wisdom? Thanks, Bob

I know myself and that would get me into trouble so I am sticking with the 302 stock. What type of paint did you use? I am think about a urethane kit. Candle apple metalflake red with a clear coat. I am going to paint it in my garage. Do you mind me asking where you got the material for the seats? You pony is nice my freind and I appreciate your very thurough doumentary.
