I'm looking to get a set of high-back seats for my car. I found a set of 1970 Cougar high back seats for a good price, I just want to know if these will be compatible with the '69/70 Mach 1 seat covers. The seats look very similar to the Mach 1's but I thought I'd check to see if anyone has any experience with Cougar seats.

 

I own a 70 Cougar but I'm not 100% sure if the dimensions are exactly the same.
Also the foam pads might be different.
Since the Cougar is a coupe, it could fit a coupe Mustang better than the Mack1, which is a sport roof body.
Just not sure...

 

They should bolt right in but im not 100% sure tho.

 

They will bolt on a coupe Stang for sure, but the Mach1 covers might look funky.
Also the sport roof has a bulge in the middle of the lower part compared to the bench seat style of the coupe, come to think of it. The foams have to be different then...
