extended shackles for my 66. where are you guys getting them? im gunna need some very soon

i would send you mine if I was putting my new suspension on yet, sorry. I wouldn't do it if I were you though i don't really like them and always hear bad things

No, you don't. You need new leaf springs. They're really not that expensive.

Shackles mess with pinion angle and destroy handling.

Shackles don't have anything to do with wheel spacing...

And they look like Sh......t on the car. Like Starfury said just replace the leaf springs. That was one of the first things I did on my car besides rebuilding the front and and getting front disc brakes. Safety first!

If you have 2.5" backspacing on 7 or 8" rims...then your only choice is going to be shackles or air shocks because the tires are going to stick out of the wheel wells. The ride will be uncomfortable, handling disappointing, and hard bumps will gouge the tires. This is not a good choice.

IMO you need to bite the bullet and get some correct wheels/tires

I guess the other option is to narrow the rear. Which one is more expensive and more important to you?
