Does the yoke keep the fluid in?
I know nothing of transmissions. What keep the fluid in around the tail. I bought my T5 and it does not have a yoke.
What all do I need there for it?

The seal and the yoke keep the fluid in. Pull the yoke out and watch it gush!

That's the problem, it doesn't have a yoke. It has been sitting up outside on some 2x4's to keep the weight off the shaft.

go to the junkyard and pull a yoke off a ford d/s
or drain the fluid and put a baggies and zip tie over the tailshaft to keep grime out

Can you not but them from a store? Junk yards are like 45 mins away.

you can get the seal at any auto parts store just get a transmission output shaft seal for a 90 5-speed mustang.
Here is a slip yoke for the t5 conversion at mustangs unlimited

but look around you may find one cheaper.
