I don't think M+ offers a stock height 620lb spring. That said, I have heard similar complaints about their 620 springs being too high, even after letting them settle. But wait it out, see what happens.

I took it for a drive around the block and no change. How much driving will lower it. Also anyone with 620 coils for a 65? If so could you count the coils (without cutting), just curious

"I just installed" is the key words. You can start making changes now and in a month or two, make them again when things settle and it gets too low. If the car is not your primamy ride, then you have been given some good advice, "give it some time".

I really appreciate all the advise. I just find it hard to believe that the stock springs are a inch higher than it sits right now. For the folks that have gone through this how many inches should I start to cut from the end? Part of me would like to order some stock springs and see what the difference really is.

They're not an inch higher than it sits right now. They may be an inch higher than it will sit, after you let them settle. Mustangs sat really high in the front from the factory.

I installed the springs from the NPD handling kit. I think they were 620 maybe 650.
It sat lower over the stock springs right away but took a good 100 to 200 miles before they fully seated.

Right now the front measured from ground to fender lip apex is 22.5". Center of wheel to fender lip apex is 12.5 Tier is a 195/60r14

Put at least 100 miles on them before you make any decisions

The coils are pre-tensioned and should not go down. THe measurent from the ground to the lip of the fender is 28" !!!! Could I have got a 67 coils, it is my understanding that they are longer. SHould I get the gt coils and cut them I don't want them falling out.
