What part of Md are you in. I can get you the name of a few reputable people near me (Balt-Annap). Whether you can walk there will be another story.

I would take this as a $45 lesson and move on. They did crappy work once, do you really want them to handle your part again?

yeah, liek i said in the original post, i thought i'd try them out with something fool-proof, and they proved to be fools alright....
i have a reputable machine shop that did my block work and should have done this too, but this was in walking distance, and has been open since 1911, so i figured they couldnt be that bad, i was wrong, or they jsut saw a 15 year old kid they thought they could get over on....

Even better yet, since you are getting a free manifold from Dave, just take it there and throw it though the window without a note.

I e mailed the shop soon after i posted here, and ym reply was something along the lines of

"Our experienced technicians feel that the job they performed is adequate for your use of the part"

BBB was notified this morning
