I never had it on a dyno but if Fords specs are correct it should be around 400 hp give or take a few ponys.

im running i would guess about 340 hourse in my 302 bolted up to my c4

do a search on mustangs monthly on the tech site. alot of great articles on this there. watch the mounting and the fly/flex plate weight. that weight varies from year to year depending on your application.

i would suggest getting the lentech [sp?] for about 1700. i went cheap because i really wanted a 5 speed but my c4 crapped out prematurely and i thought rather than rebuild the c4, the aod for cruising and mileage would work better. it does for the most part. dont know how strong it is and it basically is a stock rebuild with mild shift kit.

others may know more than i. if you are serious let me know and i'll pull my file on the swap and give you the details.

also lokar makes a shift cable that runs off the carb that is a must. dont start w/o it as you will only have to order one and fed ex it in to finish your job. part is great and very easily adjustable on both ends [at carb and at trans].

also trans gear will have to be changed to make speedo work. not a big deal at all. i did the 'guess' method and got it right on the second guess.

overall makes the car liveable and i can have a cell phone call at 70 mph where before that was impossible with engine over 3000 rmp.

thnx i will let you know...im going to run the c4 for a lil while and finish doing two more projects to the car...might put the car into paint and body before i do the swap, i just spent some money on the c4 to make it work with the 302 so ill make it worth the money at least
