need help with 65 mustang problems

Default need help with 65 mustang problems

i have a 65 mustang coupe 289 and i haave been having trouble with it. the problem is my battery is not staying charged but its not the battery or the alternator had it checked so i replaced the voltage regulator and the solenoid because i thought that could be the problem but it still is not charging if anyone has any idea of what i could be let me know thanks

maybe a bad ground? or a short somewhere? check all the wiring that the battery connects to.
im not really sure just an educated guess

4 things.

How new is your battery?

Whats is the Cold Crank Amp amount?

How was the battery and alt checked?

Check your grounds!

the battery is 3 days old and has 600 cold crank and the alt was checked by auto zone

yea the battery and terminals are all new just bought 3 days ago

Check the wiring harness that plugs into the side of your voltage regulator. You might have to use a screw driver to close the gaps on the connections so that it makes a more solid electrical connection. This simple problem caused me a week of heart ache which also cost an unnecessary $200
