Can you pick these star washers at like radio-shak or is there somewhere cheaper?

You can probably find them at Home Depot or a hardware store. I would think they would be in the electric or hardware section. Ask for star grounding washers. They look kinda like a propeller or fan blade before they are smashed when installed.

yes, Home Depot had them in there 'special' section of automotive fasteners.
