Get used flywheel off 90 Mustang GT for a few bucks and have it rebalanced to 28oz. Cost about 75 bucks

Invest in a FMS King Cobra Clutch/Pressure plate setup. Cost about 200 bucks

Will require to have the driveshaft length cut down. Cost about 200 bucks

Install MustangSteve Cable clutch or do homemade hydraulic clutch. Cost roughtly 200 bucks.

If you still have money.... get a Pro50 aftermarket shifter. Use cost 100-150 bucks.

So, plan on 1300-1400 bucks AT LEAST
James is about right. I'm in the middle of my swap, I just need time to put the parts in right now. But the costs as it stands.

T5/Yoke/Bellhousing - $300

Clutch (Came with a new clutch/pressure plate so I got lucky) - Free

28oz Adapter Flywheel - $99 from www.themustangdepot.com P/N HR-FW-1600

Mustang Steve's Cable Clutch kit - $219

T5 Tubular Crossmember - $139

Reenmachine Shifter - $99 http://www.reenmachine.com/shop/prod...cat=253&page=1

Driveshaft - Waiting for install to see how much to cut

So with a couple freebies and being lucky I'm up to $915 and probably around $1000 after the driveshaft and I'm sure another odd or end and beer.

I would imagine it would be cheaper to just rebuild the 3 speed. For an OEM style clutch kit you are looking at around $150 to $200 or aftermarket $200 to $400. And then $100 to $150 for the transmission rebuild kit.

yeah, you got out cheap on the transmission. I paid over 200 to have the driveshaft 'reshafted'. And the Cobra Clutch is 200 or so

I did get lucky, the guy I bought it from just bought a fox for the motor and just wanted the trans gone. I just happened to be the first to respond luckily. Plus when he pulled it it happened to have a virtually brand new clutch. Then he gave me the driveshaft, yoke, block plate and starter because he had no use for them and wanted them out of his garage. So I guess lucky works
