Very nice EZ. I wish you could have gotten a video of your PLDvK shooting off a few rounds before the price of bullets started approaching the price of gold.

I love your vert and your Model T. Your backyard (?) looks like one of my uncles (that passed away this year) with all those old cars.

HAHA! Yeah I guess but over $50 a shot is expensive indeed :P

That yard with all of the cars isn't mine, just the guy I got it from. Steve Jorgenson, here is his link http://www.cardomain.com/ride/1980643
Not much in the way of Pony's however but if you are diverse like me than you can find something good and mostly rust free there.

I bought my T from him just because it had zero rust and was only $1,400. I've heard prices have skyrocketed though, he's no longer giving them away and I wish I had bought another now

My little pony is fairly well eaten up at the bottom but at least topsides (of course cowl excepted) is none to minimal.

Got a question guys.....I am bringing it back to my shop after he completes the floor work so I can rust proof the undercarriage and I'm wondering if there is any way I can spray POR-15 inside of the seat reinforcment pans, inside the rockers, and inside the frame extensions and such??????

I think he is priming everything but I'm sure that the innards of these parts will still be bare steel.

I think he's talking about something similar to the foam paint brushes for home use. You can get them I think at your local paint store that sells auto paints.

Cool, I'll check into it. I think i see whatcha mean, I guess I could also use some bailing wire or something and make a little ball of rags on the end sorta like a giant firearm cleaning rod and just swap it back and forth. Doesn't seem like this would be very effective though.... :-/

Hey here's a question. The guy says he will charge me $5,000 (this is total that includes this floor work) to finish the car. This means all the rest of the body work and repaint with 2 part metal flake crimson.

Is this a good deal or no?

It sounds like a good deal if he's going to make it a "Show Car" paint job. There is a lot of sanding and lining up of body panels to get to that kind of look. Is the metal flake crimson a custom color?

If so I think this sounds reasonable especially with the work included that he's already done.

There might be cheaper ways but if you've seen his work and it looks good I'd say go for it if you have the funds.

I know my mechanic is doing a car for SEMA now that they have been working on the body for several weeks. It will look awesome when it's done but there is a ton of work in the prep before the paint.
