Default LED lights flasher replacement

So I brought my LED rear lights not knowing I would need to change the flasher unit. So i got the flasher module from mustang project but it came with no instructions and no luck by contacting them by mail. So does any body have the instructions that they could skan for me? Also were is the flasher module on a 65 and what does it look like?

Cheers

Mine (for a 66) was a direct plug in replacement. The old one was behind the dash by the glovebox. It was a round plastic piece about 3/4" - 1"tall. I went out to the garage to snap a picture but I can't find it. I assume a 65 would be the same.

If your flasher is the old ticking canister you can turn on your blinker listen around. On mine I found it behind and slightly below my radio. Bit of a bitch to reach. Just a note, I don't know about your LED kit but mine didn't require the new flasher to be in place. It was a trade off. The new flasher supports the tail light blinking patterns but has no actual *ticking* sound. While my old flasher did make the *ticking* sound but didn't support the facny turning left or right patterns, only blinking. I had a choice and went with the new flasher.

Unfortunatly with the LED lights in place i don't get the tick. I was told by the chilton's manual it is behind the instrument panel near the steering column. But it wasn't I will check out some time this week.

On my 66, the flasher for the turn signal was attached to a clip on the drivers side fresh air vent. So the description "it is behind the instrument panel near the steering column" would be about right for mine.

The flasher unit under the dash by my glove box is for my emergency flashers.

"it is behind the instrument panel near the steering column"
That is where mine is at, on the firewall next to the column. Seems to be that they can be anywhere. Just poke around and see what you can find.
