I know a guy around here that owns a 66 vert in emberglow color. I really like the color.

 

I would like to see that Emberglo pic there Ryan. Would be cool to keep it the same color as factory, just for my restomod look - not sure if it'll fly.

 

Ok...I did it again. For one I started to steal this thread and two I was second guessing my final paint pics. No emberglo. Done.

I will look and see if I can find it again, maybe in a gallery, it hasnt been on ebay for some time. It is the nicest color I have ever seen. I communicated with him on ebay, I will check my account for sent mail and see if I can find his email address. It is worth it and he seemed like a good dude, even if the car is gone maybe he can help you. I will get bak to you Ryan

 

I have looked high and low for the guys info, my buddy said he thinkd it is the modern version of Emberglow supposedly it was put on one of the recent stangs? Not sure. I will not give up , I need you to see that car it was beautiful!!!! Ryan

 

I had to show you these.. I love the orange look but it didnt pass the wife test.. How about this
1st: Daytona Sunset Orange Metallic
Last 3: Sinful Cinnamon (dupont hot hues) Used on the new Foose edition mustangs..

 

The sunset orange looks red to me. I'll pass them along to my mom and dad and see what they say. I like both of those colors.

What about CAR with white proper sized Shelby stripes? You could do the white side stripes too, or maybe no side stripes.

Another bonus of doing CAR if that is what you already have is that maybe you can just paint the outside of the car and keep the jams and trunk as is for now.

 

Hey Booger is that last mustang picture you posted (67-68) that cinnamon red color? It looks different than the other pictures I've seen (darker).

 

White stripes wouldn't look bad.

That is why I considered CAR for the color. Just have to paint the exterior of the car. Only difference will be the exterior will be pearl and the jams and trunk won't.
