Default 69 Mach 1

I bought a 69 Mach 1 that needs a resto. I can't find anywhere production numbers(broken down by interiors, color, engines, etc.) Does anyone know where to find this info. I have been told the car rare first b/c it's a Mach 1(i it's rare b/c of that) and second it's red w/white interior, 351 4V, 3spd. And no the car's not for sale(which is the most common question i get when talking to a mustang buff)Lil help here would be great</P>

OK...I'm going to assume that the Mach 1 is stock right? Never been touched so that what you are saying is that it has "stock" a 351 - 4V? Now is that a Windsor or Cleveland? If it's a cleveland, then yes it's a bit less common than th e Windsor motors. The thing that makes me wonder is the transmission..3spd? I find that that was stock (or FMX Auto with the 2 V Windsor motors)when getting the Mach 1 with the standard 351 Windsor motor, but not with a Cleveland. The Cleveland tranny options were IIRC, C-4 Auto & Ford Top Loader 4spd. As for the rarity of the red/white interior, it's not very rare in the sense of things. Lot's of white interior Mach 1's...lots of red exterior ones too. Try going to www.mach1registry.com while this site is dedicated to the 2003 - 04 Mach 1's, there is also a area for older Mach 1's and there is also a VIN decoder so you can get the information you are asking about there.

Hope that helps,
