Pulley Whine

Default Pulley Whine

When i start to accelerate i get a high pitched whiney squeaky sound from my pulleys. does something need oil......wd40?lol. just started today. it doesnt make the sound when i idle though. Any ideas.

well you can adjust the belt, also the auto parts store sell a product called belt dressing

Simple fix as Rmodel65 stated above.

If its a new engine with new belts and properley tensioned with the specified amount of backlash then I would like to know how much HP you are running and what type of belt/pulleys you have.

stock 289, with stock bulleys. as far as the belt. i dont know what the orig. owner did to it.

Like Rmodel said then, tighten or change your belt.
