Thanks. Interior will be the two-tone Ivy Gold (light/dark). I think it'll look great once done.

It looks even more badass!!! I love the color and the two tone ivy green is exactly what my 67 convertible has with the dark green exterior and it looks fantastic!

Looks great so far,If you run a aftermarket heat and ac like he is the cowl vent has no use anymore they suck air from inside the car not outside.Vintage air gives you a block off plate for the cowl vent with there kits.So smoothing it over like he did cleans up the lines and no way for it to rust out ever.

Lookin good

How does your Vintage A/C system not require the cowl vents? Where does it draw its air from?

Thanks all.

Starfury.. It recirculates and uses the air from inside the cabin instead of outside. I believe all, if not most, aftermarket units do this now. As andrewmp6 said the kit even comes with a plate to block off the passengers side cowl hole. I had already blocked both sides off while replacing the upper/lower cowl sections. A round plate, some RTV and a few nuts... done.

I decided to seal off the drivers side Fresh Air vent as well. Without this masive vent we now have a pile of free underdash room available. This looks like where our Ron Francis fuse box, MSD 6AL-2 box & inertia switch will get mounted.

Seems rather backwards. Fresh air is good.

Open a window..

Really.. opening the vent windows or opening the windows gives you fresh air so I see no use for the huge fresh air bucket under the dash. By removing this and sealing off the cowl you also never (yeah yeah) have to worry about it rotting out again.
