im gettin my mustang painted soon and i want to paint it black with a gold stripe just like the hertz mustangs,, what are the color codes so i can tell my paint guy?? need help

Product Description:
Original metallic powder to mix with clear for Hertz LeMans stripes; instructions are included. This is the original type powder used for producing the gold color on the HERTZ cars.

*NOTE* This is for use with original type acrylic/enamel paint and not for use with modern 'basecoat/clearcoat' paint methods. If you are using a modern paint system you can obtain paint from your supplier using DUPONT Centari 43496-AM "Inca Gold Metallic".

 

so just him to get DUPONT inca gold metallic or how can i obtain the closest information to provide him to get the best color for the gold stripe

 

You can buy a bag of the gold powder used for the paint from most of the parts suppliers if you want to do it the old fashioned way.

the guy whos painting my car basically just i guess needs like a paint code or a description to help get it as close as possible to the gold stripe.. any help? something i can tell em as far as paint codes or places to look

 

Places to look for what? I just gave you everything you need. "DUPONT Centari 43496-AM "Inca Gold Metallic" that is the information you need to get the correct paint. If he can't take that information into the paint store and get the right color in the paint he want to shoot it in, I wouild say he in not much of a painter. Did you tell him the Centari number or you just assuming that will not work for him?
