Default New Wheels w/ pics

Hey guys, I finally got new wheels for my 65 so I thought I'd post some pics. I know how much everybody likes posts with pictures. Here they are:
Coys C-55's
Front: 17x7, 4.25" BS, 215/45/17 Hankook
Rear: 17x8, 4.75" BS, 245/45/17 Hankook

The pictures are in my photo album if the links don't work.
Thanks

Damn, they are dirt cheap. $125.

Did you have to roll your front / rear fender lips to make them fit, eleanor 350?

As much as I don't usually like high-offset wheels...those look good on your car. I really like the stance, too.

Thanks guys for the feedback.

Lunarweasel, no I didn't have to roll any of my fenders. The quarters and fenders are original so I know no work has been done to create extra room in the fender wells. The fronts have enough room that I think I would have been OK with 17x8's all the way around, but I was afraid to chance it. Plus I like the staggered look. The back tires set just inside the fender lips. I've had my eye on these wheels for over a year, but now Coys is running a special on them as a promotion for the new Fast & Furious movie. I think I got a good deal, $1000 including shipping for wheels and tires.

As far as stance, the rear is stock height leafs with 1 inch lowering blocks and front is 620 coils with about 1/8 coil cut off. I'm thinking about lowering the front just a little more, maybe 1/2", just to tuck the tires a little and give it a little bit of rake.

Careful with that, you may start running into some serious rubbing issues during tight cornering.

Good point. I'll check it close before I just jump in and start cutting the springs. My old 14" wheels/tires were about an inch taller than my new tires on the front and I never had any rubbing issues with those. They were just about even with the fender lip, if not slightly tucked. With my new front tires being a little shorter, I've now got a little gap between the top of the tire and the fender lip. I was just thinking of taking it down to get rid of that gap. I'll check it over real good before I do anything. I just got the wheels put on Monday night and that's about all the time I've spent on it this week. I haven't even driven it yet with the new wheels.
