Talking fired her off today

well, i fired her off for the first time today. it went well for the most part. i have an oil leak at the rear main or oil pan, not sure which at this point. i was a little disappointed but she is strong. after the cam was run in for about 25-30 min., i had to move the car around in the driveway to get the tranny fluid cycled through and it felt very responsive. i did goose it once to get a taste, ol' girl lit those 18's up without hesitation. this is a huge change from the way it was before... i was running 205x15's with a 2.78 open diff. now i have 275x18's with 3.55 and a trac-lok. it wouldnt spin the old set up unless i over road the brakes. that is not the case now.

...did you change the oil after the cam break-in? If not, you need to. There are lots of metal particles floating around in there that need to come out.

Change the oil again at 50mi, 200, 1000, 3000, then go into a normal 3k cycle.
