Swapping SD over to Mass Air is pretty simple. Primarily changing the EEC and adding the MAS sensor and wiring to the intake. There are lots of sites out there explaining how the pre 89 Foxes can be updated to MA.

The question is, why do you want to convert to MAF? SD works fine when tuned right. There's a reason all the powerful aftermarket EFI race systems are SD. And with a system that runs in alpha-n at low rpm you can idle anything.
