Default Are all FastBacks automatic?

I've been in love with Fastback Mustangs ever since I saw one...So naturally, im in the market for a Fastback Mustang. Right now, I'm not sure if i could buy one straight up. But being in the Marine Corps, I can definently get one soon.

I have been looking at Fastbacks on ebay, and there all automatic...Were all Fastback Mustangs automatic?

There should be some manual trans fastbacks out there but people don't wanna let go of them now a days.

Mine came with a gayass 3 speed with 3.10 rear-end orignially. I have a 4 speed with 3.55 now. Once I get back from Iraq in November, I will upgrade to a 5 speed and maybe 3.73 or 4.10 rear-end.

I heard that in 1971, only about 5% of Mustangs were made with a stick.
The earlier models had somewhat higher percentages.
It's fairly popular now to make the switch from auto to 5-speed stick.
Several companies now offer complete kits to make the swap.
For my 71, I needed to find a used clutch peddle, everything else is new.

Rmodel.

I am usually cool with the whole "guns rule" attitude. To each their own. That signature is too much. If it didn't have the blood, fine. I live about an hour or so from VT. While it is convenient for you and people like you to use the loses in our community as icon for your cause, showing a real or contrived image of their blood is a but much for this Virginian.

Nope. Good friend of mine had a '67, 289, 4-barrel, 4-speed car. Red. Back around 1967 or 1968, before he went into the Marines. Don't remember whether he got it new or used, but either way I highly doubt that the 4M tranny in it had been swapped in.
